Minutes of meeting held at the Sir John Bayley Club 18th Sept.

Meeting opened 7-35pm
Present. Alan Turner. Rob Withington. A. Kendrick. Steve Weatherall. Noel Hitch. C. Hitch. R. Hassell. Roger Smith. John Rawlings. Angus Way.

Minutes proposed. Steve Weatherall, Seconded Andy Kendrick.
Matters arising. None.
Chairman’s report. Rob Withington offered condolences for the recent loss of Alan Turners son. Rob also added that he hoped the season would go well for every one.
Treasurer’s report. Andy Kendrick reported no change in the accounts.
Secretaries report. None.
Competition Secretaries report. Angus had taken cards around to clubs and had spoken to Ian Duffy. Ian said he had been unable to get a team for Broseley. Angus had offered Shifnal as a venue and told Ian that it would have to be for the whole season. The offer was still available and Angus was hoping for the best.

Future planning. Handicaps to be reviewed at a later date.
A.O.B. Roland Hassell asked about cards for the Bayley club and Andy Kendrick replied that they were already here. The latest news on the Dawley social club was that it would only be closed for three days. Rob Withington was told that there had been no comeback on the decision of stopping the handbooks. Steve Weatherall suggested changing the under twenty ones to under twenty fives due to lack of diminishing numbers in the league.
