Matters arising.   League treasurer, Andy Kendrick said that he had attended Ken Harpers funeral service and that there had been a good turn out from the snooker league. Andy had passed on the leagues condolences and made them aware that the league would be making a donation.

Chairman’s report.  Chairman stated it was unfortunate to have a team drop out of the league so early in the season, and added thanks to Andy for quickly re-arranging fixtures on the website.

Treasurer’s report.    Andy reported that a donation had been made for Ken Harpers’ chosen charity. Also, entered the inter-town competition. Cue fees are due next month. Andy also said that Shifnal E are now barred from the league due to non-payment of fees.

Secretaries report      Secretary expressed his apologies for not being able to attend Ken Harpers funeral, and said he was pleased that there had been a good turnout. Alan also said that although the Star were interested in reports from the paper, unfortunately there hasn’t been hardly any reports from teams added to report.

 Competition Secretaries report.

The comps are going well and the results are starting to flow in. Fantastic turnout for the divisional singles, 22 from the first division (average of 2 per team) & 37 from the second (average of over 3 per team)- every team sent at least one player in the second division.

All 3 Telford teams have been entered and the draw should be out week commencing Mon 23rd October. I'll put it on the website asap with full squads If teams are drawn at home then we need to provide 2 refs for each game so support would be most welcome As Shifnal E have unfortunately dropped out of the league, it has been agreed that Lee & Sean Cross should still be eligible to play in this season's comps as long as all outstanding fees are paid in full Highest breaks to date are 88 from Tom Maxfield in the first division and 49 from James O'Hara in the second
