TELFORD & DISTRICT AMATEUR SNOOKER LEAGUE

Minutes of meeting held at the Sir John Bayley Club on Thursday 17th May 2016.

Meeting Opened : 7.30 pm.

Present : Rob Withington, Alan Turner, Andy Kendrick, John Rawlins, Kelvin McLeod, Mike Healey, Steve Weatherall, Ken Davies.

Apologies : Noel Hitch, Dave Dudley, Tony Morgan.

Matters Arising : Match cards have been added to the website.

Chairman Report : Mr Rob Withington said it had been a good year and hoped everyone had enjoyed the season. There had been no complaints against the rise in cue fees. Rob also mentioned that Keith Gardener had sadly passed away.

Treasurer Report : Mr Andy Kendrick said accounts were as presented except for the donation to Keith Gardeners service. There had been one late fine for Hadley B.

Secretary Report : Mr Alan Turner reiterated Chairmans views and added condolences for Keith Gardener. A seperate prize in the form of a framed photograph was being presented to Matt Davies in recognition of his maximum break. It was mentioned that the perpetual trophy for the highest break only had two years left and that it would be given to this years winner to keep, Matt Davies, as a tribute to his break.

Competition Secretary Report : Mr Noel Hitch was not present but all competitions had been completed successfully.

Correspondence : None

Future Planning : Mr Pete Nolan, the leagues main sponsor, had agreed to present the trophies and cash awards at the presentation evening.
