Future planning.  There was discussion concerning different venues for competitions, which would be put in place eventually, but every one agreed that Dawley would make an ideal venue for the next presentation.

A.O.B.  Angus said that all competitions had to be entered by the 24th of October, and that we would have a sub committee meeting to make some random draws. Any one would be welcome, and that meeting would be at the Bayley Club on the Monday the 27th. Noel Hitch had asked about the any teams that ha dropped out of this year’s league; would they be allowed back, and if so, would they be starting in the third division. It was explained that any team of repute would be started in a division at the committee’s discretion. Dave Dudley questioned the eligibility of the John Bethel, and the committee decided that in spite of misguided rules from yesteryear, that anyone who had won a trophy in singles, doubles, trebles etc. should be allowed to play if for instance they had only been runners up. This would also gain more support for our dwindling league it was felt.
