Minutes of meeting held at the Sir John Bayley Club 19^th Feb.

Meeting opened 7-35pm

Matters arising. None.

Chairman’s report. Chairman said that he hoped every-one was enjoying the season,

Treasurer’s report. The treasurer had said that the room for the venue had been paidfor, and also commented that results had been coming in better recently. Cash prizes would be broken down at the next meeting. Everyone had paid fees by Jan. deadline. Kenny also said that the perpetual trophies needed to be collected by March. I t was suggested that this be added to the website by the Chairman, Mr. Rob Withington.

Secretaries report. None.

Competition Secretaries report. Angus had reported that everything was going well, and that all matches had been played up to date. Angus also suggested that he would like to arrange two finals for the same evening, at the same venue, to generate more interest for the competitions. The Wednesday after the season finishes was thought to be a good idea. Shifnal, Bayley and Maddocks were mentioned, but it would depend if any players involved would be playing at their own club.

Future planning. Andrew Kendrick commented that the venue had been sorted for this seasons’ presentation, and that the Dawley Social Club had got a P.A. system.
