Minutes proposed.   Pete Clarke, Seconded, Rob Withington.

Matters arising.    There had been no response from Craig Reynolds as far as the competitions were concerned, and Craig had not been in touch with any committee member. After discussion, it was decided that if Craig didn’t play competitions in time, that he would still be liable to pay cue fees.

Chairman’s report.   None.

Treasurers' report.  Andy Kendrick said that seven teams had not paid cue fees to date, but because he had been so busy, hadn’t really had time to check the bank details yet.

Secretaries report.   None.

Competition Secretaries report.  Nigel said that we were going ahead with this years entrants in the John Bethel and the under twenty ones, although it was not financially worthwhile.

Correspondence None.

Future planning.   It was suggested that in view of the declining number of players in the league, that we must take note of entrants into some of the competitions, so that it doesn’t become a financial burden to the league in the future.

A.O.B . Tony Morgan was surprised that they had got into the doubles next round, as their opponents had dropped out. The team knockout competition handicaps were questioned by Pete Clarke, as there seemed to be an anomaly between divisions. Nigel replied that it didn’t actually make any difference in the matches concerned. Nigel Stallard will be working abroad in the near future, and Angus Way will step into the position in the interim period. Situation to be discussed at future meetings.

Meeting closed at 8-05 pm.
