Minutes of meeting held at the Sir John Bayley Club 18th June

2014

Meeting opened 7-30pm

Present. Alan Turner. Rob Withington. A. Kendrick. Pete Clarke. Roland Hassell. Angus Way.

Apologies: Dave Dudley. John Banks.

Minutes proposed. Pete Clarke. Seconded, Rob Withington.

Matters arising. It was mentioned after reviewing the league rules that the committee could decide the formation of next seasons’ league program.

Chairman’s report. Rob Withington said that we had lost John Jones, one of our referees, sadly.

Treasurer’s report. Andy Kendrick reported that the balance was as per sheet.

Secretaries report. Secretary thanked Rob for helping with the duties at the presentation.

Competition Secretaries report. Angus outlined what his proposals would be for running the competition secretaries job, and also re-iterated the sad loss of John Jones.

Post. John Banks resigned from the committee.

Future planning. A.G.M. notices will be placed in various snooker clubs and some would be put into clubs not presently involved in our league, hoping that we might gain some more interest.

A.O.B. Andy Kendrick said he was stopping on the committee, as did Rob and Alan, with Angus probably being voted on at the A.G.M.
