Minutes of meeting held at the Sir John Bayley Club 15^th Aug. 

2013

 

Meeting opened 7-32pm

Present. Alan Turner, Mike Healey, Rob Withington, Pete Clarke, Steve Weatherall, Dave Dudley, Andy Kendrick. John Banks. Ken Davies. Micheal Wianwright. Ryan Dudley. Tony Morgan.

Matters arising.    None.

Chairman’s report.   No report except to thank Andy Kendrick for collating the League and to hope that we all have a good season.

Treasurers' report.  Andy Kendrick gave the following report: We will be down £600 because of depletion of teams, and prises will be given accordingly. This week received the normal affiliation fees from the West Midlands Sponsorship from Pete Nolan, Andy Geary and also to Barry Roden.  Thanks to them for sponsorship.

Secretaries report.   Just Radio Shropshire invited Secretary to speak on snooker in general.

 Competition Secretaries report.  All competitions are on website

Post. As per minutes and also £150-00 From Sapphire tools via Tony Morgan. It was suggested that this donation along with Rob Withingtons be put towards future replacement of repair of perpetual trophies.

 Future planning.   Alan Turner to invite Angus Way to be intertown captain and committee to pick best players.

A.O.B.    Ken Davies suggested Xmas raffle from each club to be help out finances to the league with prizes being given in the Dec. meeting. Steve Weatherall suggested using the website for promoting this raffle, and if agreed we could add to the cue fees if teams were in agreement. None.
