TELFORD SNOOKER LEAGUE

Match Report - 2016/17

DIVISIONAL INDIVIDUAL ROUND UP: SECOND DIVISION: Another fantastic night of snooker at Shifnal saw Maddocks James O'Hara & James Hayward along with the Bayley's Ben Godding & Chris Morgan-Adams clinch their places in the semi finals in December. James O'Hara made a great 3 ball plant to start a fine 37 break to defeat Noel Hitch before taking out Andy Garbett. James Hayward beat Paul Rhodes before edging past Dave Dudley with 2 long pots on the blue & pink to seal victory. Ben Godding had a nice 21 break to help beat Karl Wilson before a great pink clinched his passage against Ian Cleary. A decent 27 break aided Chris Morgan-Adams in beating Ash Kent in the quarter final but the highlight of the night was his last 16 clash with Tony Morgan. Tony had a lovely 15 break before the re spotted black meant he was snookered on his intended red. He played a nice safety taking the cue ball into baulk, content with his 28 point advantage. However Chris smashed a red in from nowhere and went on to clear before missing the final black off its spot but a great 83 break nevertheless.
