Hadley
A met Bayley B at Hadley this week, and what an entertaining
match it turned out to be. Mick Collins played Craig Baugh and
would have been much closer except for five in offs! The next
frame was a cracker with Andy Kendrick and Tom Mulholland.
Both players were cuing very well, but after Andy taking the
pink and the black for a drawn frame, it was Andy who sunk the
re-spotted black. Alan Turner pooted the first red against Kev
West in the third frame but went in off the pink ball, then
watched Kev knock a 21 in. After being over 30 behind, Alan
came back to be able to win with the pink and black, but went
in off the pink and Kev potted the pink, frame over. Ian
Eldridge had a great 44 break to put himself in a commanding
position, but Danny Olliver played some great snooker to get
back in the frame. After a great yellow, then taking green and
brown Danny just missed the blue. Iand took the next two
colours in another good frame of snooker. John Rawlings then
Played Kalvin McLeoud. John built an early lead and potted
some good balls, and Kalvin never really got into the game.
