Division One.

Frame 1. Callum got the ball rolling for Dawley and carried on his fine form following last weeks 86 with a great 46 clearance to wrap up the first frame. Frame 2. Craig Reynolds dusted his \'snooker\' cue off to make his first appearance this season playing Dan Oliver. In a close frame both players potted well on the table of death. With the scores close & only one red remaining the frame could have gone either way. It was Dan who potted it only to see the cue ball drop into the middle pocket. With white in hand & the colours all on Craig calmly took the frame out to put Dawley two nil up. Frame 3. Sean Nolan v Kev West. Another close frame but it was Kev who scored the heavier and ran out comfortably to put a point on the board for the Bayley Boys. Frame 4. Another new signing for Dawley as Alex Ginty made his league debut against Craig Baugh. A good frame this and it was Craig who got his potting boots on first. With Alex finding the back of the pocket with the cue ball several times Craig soon had a good lead. Alex came back well with some good potting but with pink & black left he still needed one snooker. He laid a great snooker which Craig just managed to miss. Alex managed to take pink & black to pinch the frame & put Dawley 3-1 up. Final frame Mark Jones v Kelvin McCleod. Both players missed early chances but it was the Dawley mon that scored the heavier and got himself into a position that Kelvin never really threatened. Mark took the frame to give the Dawley side a 4-1 victory. A good night against a good set of lads. Well played Bayley.
