Shifnal derby with both teams looking to set down a marker for the season First frame and Dave Siddons knocked in a nice 29 break to beat an out of sorts Chris Painter. Frame 2 was a nip and tuck affair with Chris P needing only one of the last 3 colours before Beamer Jones potted the blue then a tremendous pink down the cushion but then Chris Petford unluckily went in off the black to give the frame to Shifnal A putting them 0-2 up. Spencer Rowely stopped the rot for Shifnal F clawing back a frame with some good potting to beat Mark Wordsell but only after completely missing the pack whilst breaking off. Andy Carson didn\'t give Rob much of a chance while completely dominating the match in a solid potting display. It was then left to the captain to bring some respectability back to the scoreline for Shifnal F and Willie Brown played some good safety in beating Nick Carson to make the final score Shifnal F 2 Shifnal A 3. Well done to the Shifnal A boys and good luck for the rest of the season
