With one eye on next weeks cup semi final , Bayley Z fielded a couple of \'reserves\' in their match against Dawley B , expecting another loss( and an increased handicap) , their plan backfired spectacularly when they won the game 3-2 !! Tony Morgan took on Wally Harper , in what can only be described as a dour & tense encounter which neither player wanted to lose , Wally FINALLY came out on top with a 57-42 win . Next , making a welcome return to the team after a career threatening toe injury, was young Dan Lane , and he produced some fine snooker beating Roy Adams 53-40 . Al Francis was next on against Geoff Davies , who played some steady snooker to take the frame 53-22 . \'Young\'John Rawlings was another to make a return to the team after a dismal run of form and career threatening injury, however he put all that behind him as he got the better of Barry Roden 47-38 , to level the match 2-2. It was left to the \"Tugboat\" Richard Benting ,to seal only their 2nd win of the season , with some scintillating snooker , beating Liam Goodman 60-20. Whoever said \'you won\'t win anything playing a bunch of kids\' obviously didn;t know what he was talking about . This now leaves the Z boys with a selection headache for next weeks semi-final , do we change a winning team or do we bring back a couple of old heads ?? We will just have to leave the opposition guessing !
