Frame 1 started brightly with both Phil Davies & Chris Lawson scoring good breaks of 37 & 42,but it was phil who pushed over the winning line.The second frame was one of missed chances with Colin Gittus & Ian Skelton both missing & not potting many balls until the blue which Ian got lucky with, going off the middle pocket jaw which rolled into the corner pocket with position on the pink.Next up was Sam Drake V Leigh France which started evenly until Sam forged Ahead and won 51 - 25.In the forth frame Ade Henry took on Mick Reynolds. Ade started well and scored well to keep Mick from the table with a 44 break & then potting well to win 74 - 15.With the match score at 2-2 it was the turn of Shaun Lane & Dave France.Dave started the better with some good shots to gain the lead.Shaun didn\'t let him get to far ahead with the frame hanging in the balance going into the colours.It was then that the safety play started.This went on for sometime until shaun had potted both the brown & blue to level the scores at 42 all.Dave then snookered shaun behind the black which shaun played out of,nicking the pink which fell into the middle pocket.He then potted the black to win 55-42.Final score Shifnal C 3-2 Maddocks A
