First
Division.
Hadley
have nearly completed this season, with probably thier best
achievements to date in this division. Hadley visted the
struggling Bayley E side and came away with a 4-1 result. I
missed the first frame which John Williams had a comfortable
win over Dave France. In the second frame Andy Kendrick and
Andy O,Brien tried thier hardest to give each other the point
with so many errors from both players, but in the end it was
the Hadley player, Andy Kendrick who took the frame with the
final three colours. Dave Bayer and Steve Clayton had a
very good frame, with Dave winning that one on the black ball.
The next frame saw Graham Darrall take on John Squire. This
was a tough match, but towards the end of the frame Graham
took a good brown, a fine blue and snookered john with the
next shot. That sealed the win for Graham to make it 3-1 to
Hadley. The last frame went to Alan Turner after a hard fought
match, when Ali Jones went in off the final Black.

Not
a lot to say this week. Wished I\'d stayed away with the kids
!!!!!!
Broseley
v Anstice A.
In
a virtual title decider the first frame was understandably
important. When Keith made 34 and missed the final red John
needed to clear with 35 to winand
managed to do so winning by a single point. Neil Price won
comfortably in the second as did Tom Maxfield did in the
third. Tony had chances to extend an early lead in the fourth
but when he failed to capitalise Ian got stronger to make it
2-2. Dave Berry from Shrewsbury standing in for Mick Brezwyn
played a solid frame against Simon Yeates to give Broseley the
result they needed to give them the best chance of winning the
league since 2008.
