Under 21's final Ben Godding beat Lewis Round

The
1st frame 70-11, Ben got off to a great start,
taking colours with nearly every red & with breaks of
20 &15 soon had the 1st frame won
2nd frame 49-11, although this frame was a bit more nip
& tuck, Ben had control of the frame all of the way
3rd frame 23-43, this was a more careful game with
Lewis knowing he needed to to win, starting to take some
colours with his reds and a self called foul on the pink,
Lewis gained enough points to win the frame
After a 10 minute interval, Lewis came out in the 4th
frame in a potting mode & soon built up a commanding
lead of 40 points, but Ben wasn't to be denied & started
reducing the deficit until a black ball game was in progress
& with several attempts by both players, it was Ben who
potted the black to win this frame 57-50 & the
Under 21's title.
with nearly 20 spectators, it was a bit tight around the
table but credit to both players for giving a good
performance
