Frame 1

A tight start the match before Chris Durham played a series of ' foul and a miss' costing him over 30 points to allow Ian to take the first frame comfortably with some good long reds before Chris took the last 3 colours to bring some respectability back to the score.

Frame 2

Jimmy Langley came out potting and building an early lead not giving Fred many chances with Jimmy bringing the match back to almost level scores.

Frame 3

The pivotal frame in the match saw Lee knock in an impressive 38 break on his way to overpowering Graham Arnold in a one sided match in which Graham never really got going but Lee potted everything available to put the Bailey side well on top.

Frame 4

Ken started the frame well for Maddocks D storming into an early 20 point lead before Noel clawed his way back into the frame. Going into the colours Ken was 28 points ahead but couldn't get over the finish line as a couple fouls allowed Noel to take the frame by 14 points

Frame 5

Final frame with Steve Weatherall and the Bailey Q side 96 points ahead not giving Michael Wainwright much of a chance of reducing the deficit. Early in the frame and Steve killed the black by putting it on the cushion thus restricting Michael to the lower valued colours. This proved to be decisive as Michael eventually won the frame by 11 points , thus giving the Bailey Q side the victory by 85 points.
