Division
One.
Poor
result for the Bayley lads who should have really took at
least two frames from this one. Ben won a scrappy opener
against Dean who had his chances. Roger and Kev\'s game was a
war of attrition but Roger was always in front. Danny playing
his practice partner Steve was 25 in front with 25 left on and
decided that despite he could see three quarters of the green
he would hit the blue instead to make it interesting! And he
did as Steve punished him by taking the Green to pink and
playing a quality safety on the Black. Danny left half a
chance and Steve dispatched the Black to take the frame (still
pig sick now!!!Wait til our next practice session). Rich
played solid against Craig to take his frame comfortably and
Gary recovered well from a scrappy slow start to take his
frame well against Mac. Looking like the 2nd division for us
lot this year after a tough season. Well done to the Eden lads
Division
Three.
Following
a very polished perfomance at Arscott last week, perhaps the
sweet success went to the Junior\'s heads. Forgetting that
they had to come out fighting again this week, against a side
riding high after their win taking them into the semi finals
for another trophy. Callan Rhodes,, playing well for an
inexperinenced competitor did well to stay most of the way
against Graham Arnold, going down 24-60 with a spirited
performance.Dan Lane, not having the best run of the balls
lost to Maj Ilyas 26-63. Mike Healey was no match for Neil
Warrender, who was in his best potting form, winning
comfortably 85-22. Ryan Dudley, also did not have the best of
luck with the run of the balls eventually going Jamie
Howells\' way, resulting in another win 31-51 for Maddocks.
The final frame going to a very good and sporting side. Ryan
Shervey, for once was unable to find his shooting boots, or
should it be cue? Ben Godding giving him a taste of defeat
winning 54-14 for a five - nil result.
