Bayley
B against Bayley A this week produced a good match with Tom
Mulholland playing very well to beat Steve Fletcher, making a
49 break during the process. Kev West beat Arthur Burrows and
Danny Oliver was in fine from against Bob Mason. A good
potting frame between Chris Morgan-Adams and Dickie Bedall saw
Dickie secure this frame. The last frame went to Bayley A with
Maxwell Hodson getting the better of Craig Baugh.
Coddon C were home to Maddocks D, and Ollie Wall won the
opener playing Cheryl Caswell. Michael Wainwright hit back to
level against Mark Tusel, but then Dave Hoof put the away side
two up beating Garry Owen. Ian Courtney won the next for
Maddocks, and with a 22 clearance in the last frame, Matt
Bothwell got the second of the night for the Coddon team.

Bayley
Q entertained Bayley D with Mark Bedall for Bayley D taking
the first frame from Rob Cook. An excellent finish from Dave
Williams saw him beat Chris Durham, then Lee Newton made a
forty break bringing a point back for his team. Steve
Weatherall tied the match winning his frame with Dave Dudley,
but the last frame decided the match in Bayley D’s favour
with Jim Lewis beating Chris Bates.
Hadley
A finally got their season up & running with a 3-2 victory
over Allscott. Roy Francis got the ball rolling with a fine
58-39 victory over Terry Brentnall, with Tony Morgan following
suit to make it two nil. Richard Benting won frame an match for Hadley, but Allscott
came back with wins virtue of Dave Finney and Jason Allen.

Shifnal
B played newcomers Coddon B, with Matt Davies securing the
first frame, then Aaron Sparkes making it two for the Shifnal
side. Angus Way beat Mick Pearson and team mate Lindsay Knox
defeated Mick Egan. In the last John fallows had a 44 break as
he made the score five nil to Shifnal.
Broseley
A were at home to Maddocks C, and this match produced some
tight frames with impressive safety play. John Banks took the
early lead for Broseley but Darren Willkie levelled the match.
Graeme Long restored the lead, and then Simon McLeod won the
match beating Joe Oliver. Mick Brezwyn made it four nil with a
comfortable win over Graham Hoof.
