Bayley
F gained their first win of the season against Maddocks A.
After losing the first two frames when Ian Eldridge beat Mick
Hughes and Ian Skelton beat Phil Whitby, Graham Darrell
playing his first frame of this season, then beat Simon
Biddulph, who was drafted in for his first game of the season.
That set up the revival for Bayley F, with Andy Kendrick
beating Phil Davies on the black, and then Alan Turner winning
the match against Dave France.
Anstice
A were in fine form as they beat the Coddon A side comfortably
in their 5-0 win. Neil and Keith Price won the opening frames,
with Keith recording a 61 break. Ian Duffy, Shawn Harris and
Simon Yeates won the next three frames to make it a clean
sweep.

Newly
promoted Hadley B also gained a 5-0 victory over Coddon C,
with Steve Camp, Darren Pountney, Laki
Badhan, also Ken Booty and Dave Smout all having
comfortable wins.
Bayley
A, after their first weeks defeat, are coming back strongly,
and this week they notched up a 4-1 victory over Dawley B. In
a close encounter, Chris Morgan-Adams was the only loser for
Bayley, when seasoned campaigner Wally Harper won the first
frame. The next four frames all went the Bayley way, with
Maxwell Hodson Bob Mason and Steve Nichols taking the next
three, and finally Steve Fletcher adding the last frame for
their overall win of 4-1.

Newport
B had a tough match with Allscott, but came out 3-2 winners on
the night. The match, after four frames was tied, with Colin
Farge winning for Newport against Jason Allen, John Shelvock
levelling against Steve Speake. Allan Davies for Newport put
the Newport team back in front before Terry Brentnall set up a
decider between Les Stirling and David Finney. Les won that
frame to give his side the match win.
Anstice
played Dawley C at Dawley this week, with Noel Stones taking
the first frame from Andy Elliot. Chris Gifford had a 25 break
when he beat Mick Cahill, then team mate Nigel Wallcroft put
Antice 2-1 up. Luke Edwards and Jamie Mills both won the next
frames though, to give the home side a 3-2 result.
