as Graham potted well throughout the frame to put Broseley
2-1 up. Rob Wright then beat Carl Walker, 82 points to 42,

Stallard, 47 points to 39, to win the match for Broseley,
Nigel went ahead at the start by 20 points and kept that advantage
going until the last 4 colours, when Simon potted a great
brown, decent blue, fantastic pink along the bottom cushion,
then finished straight on the black into the middle, where
he missed it, the ball sailed around the table and dropped
into the opposite middle bag for him to take the frame.

to clinch the win for Coddon, 76 points to 32 against J Lewis.
Anstice C vs Dawley B
Anstice C entertained Dawley B and to those of you
that don’t know, Paul Harper is back from a two year
break under the wings of Dawley B, and league sponsor Barry
Roden of Roden Scaffolding. Main reason for this is in defence
of his Shropshire Star Individual crown which has been started
back up this year through the efforts of Mick Brezwyn, Nigel
Stallard and Angus Way and from what I saw of the game it
won’t be long before he is back firing on all cylinders.
John Jones gave Anstice the perfect start with a 51 points
to 36 win over Gary Clements. Steve Camp won his 6th frame
of the season (100% record) and made it 2-0 with a 56 points

victory over A Aston. Dickie Oliver made it 4-1 to Bayley,
63 points to 31 against B Easthope.
Bayley Q vs LDS D
Looking for their sixth successive win of the season, Division
Three leaders Bayley Q were playing at home against the only
other unbeaten team in division three, LDS D. Chris Bates
won his fourth game of the season with a 60 points to 23 win
over J Evans to maintain his 100% record. Rob Cook carried
on his good form beating young Ryan Jackson 71-37 to put Bayley
Q two-nil ahead. But after an excellent start, it went down
hill from there.
Third on was Chris Fletcher, and all was going well with
a sixteen point lead on the brown, but in potting the brown
he was unlucky to follow in off and opponent Chris Niblett
potted the final four balls to take the frame for LDS. Bayley's
Steve Weatherall found himself in a scrappy fourth frame but
managed to get sixteen points ahead with just the pink and
black remaining. A good snooker from LDS’s Wayne Timmings
put the pressure back on Steve, and after failing to escape,
potting the pink and black meant LDS had levelled the score
at two frames each.
The final frame would decide which team lost their unbeaten
record this season, and it started well for LDS with a 30
break from Sean Jackson. Rich Tranter replied with a break
of 22, only for Sean to steam off with a break of 27, and
then a second break of 30 to clear the table and clinch the
match for the LDS team, moving them to second place in the
table.
